Last year, the kids and I spent the day in St. Louis. A family day for us. We went with the idea of spending the day at the zoo. However, no one thought about maybe with the virus…you might need a reservation to get in. On the way there, I asked Hannah if she had gotten us reservations…nope. She called and somehow got us a last-minute reservation, but we had to wait until later in the day to get in. I am not sure how she did it…for they were booked solid. None left. As my dad always said…the good Lord is looking down on me and smiling. 🤣
Forest Park
I came up with the idea to head to Forest Park. It was a great idea. Very relaxing time. Since I brought my camera…and always can find an opportunity to practice…I asked Bobbi and Mitchell if they would pose for me. They did…sweet people…sweet couple. Laid back and go with the flow. Love that about the two of them.
This picture is part of our family bonding at this sweet tree. Hannah fell in love with our tree. 😂
Our family spent some time relaxing under this tree for a while. Such a sweet, peaceful, and precious time. I ventured off on my own taking pictures of wildlife and flowers when I heard a band playing music off in the distance. I talked Bobbi into the adventure of finding the band. We did. WOW!!! I parked it on a picnic table under a tree until it was time to head to the zoo. The band was a group of guys a bit older than me. I LOVED the music they were playing/singing. The band was the best gift of the day.
Great memories with the fam in St. Louis that day. I feel so blessed to have the children I do. I am thankful. ❤️
