Freedom Feast

leaf

I want to talk about the Freedom Feast…aka Passover…but first…I want to comment on the featured image.

In my opinion, this leaf is super cool. I am not sure what made the holes…my best guess…insects.

Sometimes, I find little insect eggs on the back of leaves in the summer. My theory is that some bug…laid eggs on the back of this leaf. When the larvae were done developing, their first meal was the missing parts of this leaf. It reminds me of galls. How the insect eats its way out of the gall ball…so you see this tiny little hole from the insect getting free from the little home it has been living in.

I am in love with the holes being parallel. Also…the patterns and the symmetry of the holes. Just MARVelous don’t ya think???? 😎

It is crazy how cool nature is. So much fun exploring the woods and finding little treasures all over the place. Fascinating stuff if you have the eyes to see it. EVERYWHERE you go!!!

Passover

Passover starts today. The Freedom Feast.

Hannah is having a Passover feast this evening. I can’t attend as I have been preparing for my own release. She is doing lamb again this year. The lamb last year was the best lamb I have ever eaten in my life…and I have cooked a lot of lamb. Wow…her lamb chops were amazing. 😍

I asked Bobbi if she was going to be able to go. Her answer had me in stitches. I won’t repeat what she said…suffice it to say…she is in that miserable stage of pregnancy where she wants the baby out. Her comments along with the tone of her voice…had me rolling. 😂 Any woman who has carried a baby…knows that misery. She was quite clear she was not getting dressed and leaving the house.

Tomorrow…Bobbilicious is leaving the house for me.😜 She is dropping me off to get my rental car. I head to Washington D.C. to do a freedom march for our nation.

I am super excited to spend this year’s Passover in D.C. making way for the Second Exodus. For 30 years, I have been training for this season of my life…couldn’t be happier for it to finally arrive. Honestly, at times…I didn’t think I would make it here…but I am. Amazing to me.

Assignments

I have certain assignments He is requiring of me. Finding some of it interesting. Bobbi and I got a lot of insight in our phone conversations today about my trip. I keep telling Vanessa and Bobbi…I couldn’t be more blessed by the wives Father created for my sons. Goodness…they are pillars in my life. Life support at times. My girls have blessed me beyond compare. My sons too…but my girls…wow…my heart…forever. Wouldn’t want to do life without them.

Over the weekend, I did some reflecting on my trips with Hannah. I was telling her…those trips were perfection for me. She was the perfect traveling partner. Always giving me the freedom to follow Father…step by step as we traveled. Even when it seemed crazy, she went along with me. We were never disappointed about the activities He had us doing. We both learned much on those trips together.

Super excited about returning to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Not sure why, but He has something for me there. This will be my third time at Arlington and watching the ceremonies at the grave. He often has me doing things in threes. The Trinity. In triplet. Crazy how He works. We have been in almost a constant state of discussion for about a week now about my trip. Haven’t been online to look anything up. The other day on YouTube, a documentary popped up on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Just crazy. He is constantly confirming His plan with me…even down to the little details.

One great and wonderful aspect of this trip…I will get to check an item off my bucket list. Seeing the cherry trees in D.C. in bloom during the spring. I am googly-eyed over the notion. 😳 What a gift! Following Him…the best!!!

Pictures to follow. Super excited! 💙

Choose life in Christ…freedom…celebrate Passover.
