LIFE Through the Lens
Photography is a hobby of mine. I am a work in progress…learning daily to improve my photography knowledge and skills. I always say I am a student of photography…as I am with all things in life. This page is my online scrapbook, so I can scroll through my photos on occasion and get pleasure out of the memories and the growth they contain. Seems silly to me to keep them tucked away in a drawer somewhere and fail to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
I am more of a minimalist in life…across the board. I don’t wear makeup every day…only if I feel like it. I don’t own many possessions. I prefer to be outside rather than inside. I would rather pee in the woods than in a public restroom…sleep under the stars in a tent than in a hotel. Nature floats my boat. Trips my trigger. Makes my heart skip a beat. Turns me on…all over. It is one of my passions.
Photos
Most of the photos you will see on this page will be nature related…and the editing is minimal. I am not one for lots of editing…I prefer the natural way…and I am a bit lazy on the editing side. You could think of this page as the walls on the inside of my house. It is how I have always decorated my home…with some of my favorite pictures. The images are for my pleasure BUT…I hope you get some pleasure out of them as well.
All images were taken by me unless I specify otherwise. On occasion, I may include photos family members have taken if I feel led. One of my daughters shares my love of photography and you will indeed see some of her pictures on our family page where I will give her credit. I wouldn’t have many pictures of me without her. All pictures on this site are not to be shared without my permission. If you would like to purchase a photo or get permission to use it, feel free to send me an email through the contact page.
Welcome to our online scrapbook!
