macro tree flower blossom

In 51 years of life, I have never been more appreciative of spring as I am this year. The tree buds remind me of smiles. I feel like the trees are smiling at me. Winking at me about the newness of life. I love it…needed it.

I fascinate myself as I want to take pictures of the same little flowers from different angles and with different lenses. Because at times, I don’t understand myself, I certainly don’t expect anyone else to understand the complexities that make up the woman I am. However, I am resolved to celebrate my womanhood…imperfections and quirks included.

It is important to me…to look at life and situations from different angles. Different points of view. I always try to put myself in someone else’s shoes to see how they would perceive me, my life, and how I live. Understanding others’ opinions can be helpful…even if I disagree. It brings a sense of peace to me. It sets me free from condemning those who condemn me. I get them. I see their point of view.

Life Versus Death

For the last five years, Father has had me focused on all things death. Not a fan. I have had my fill of learning about death. Ready to focus on life. Feel life. Experience life. Be immersed in all thing’s life. Spring forth life. Sounds like a wonderful plan to me. Hoping He agrees with me. Serving Him…means you don’t always get what you want. Serving self…means you can go make things happen and do as you please in most cases. I haven’t seen that place in MANY years.

In photography, I like the reality…you get to focus on what you choose to focus on. Maybe that is why I prefer nature photography…all things that have life…versus a metal building that doesn’t grow and change. Doesn’t have life in it.

Thankful for SPRING! LIFE!
